With less than three weeks left for Ganeshotsav, Rama Satish Shah, who has been making Ganesha idols blindfolded for the last 13 years, unveiled her latest creations at a press meet Thursday.

Shah entered the Limca Book of Records last year for the 12th time for completing 2,12,000 idols in 12 years. “In a minute, I can make four small Ganesha idols by hand, without a mold”, says Shah, a mother of three. She shot to international fame when her work was showcased on television show Ripley’s Believe It Or Not. “I prefer working in the middle of the night when there are no distractions. I find the Brahmamuhurtha period (96 minutes before sunrise) ideal for working”, she says.
